Drawing on the Valais roots to restore the most faithful possible image of today's Valais, this is the mission of the Zachéos. The Ensemble was created to be the link between the past and the future. To achieve this option, it is necessary to transpose legends, customs and historical facts on stage to keep the necessary dose of emotion and to place each event in its context.

Whether through paintings of masks, mercenaries, the wedding, the Matze or scenes of peasant life, the Zachéos communicate their joy of dancing and sharing their cultural differences with other ensembles.

From FIFO to Poland via Canada, Bulgaria and many other countries, the Zachéos perpetuate a cultural approach based on research, creation and training. Maintaining an ensemble of artistic quality worthy of the guideline given by the founders, this is the state of mind of the current leaders of this group still present at FIFO.
